I am finally getting back into the
Whistle world! My first child is now 6 months and I feel I have given myself
enough time to soak up all of the new baby goodness. Time to get back to
blogging!
Here are a few things I have learned being
a first time mother I did a lot of research and tried to keep my costs really
low.
1. You don’t need tons of onesies in newborn
size. They grow out of them fast and they never get dirty. At 6 months old is
when they really start to get their clothes dirty and our little man is wearing
clothes that range from 6 months to 12 months.
2. Don’t just go by the tag size. Each item
will fit differently and you may not get to use something if you wait till the
tag says it’s time for your child to wear it.
3. The first 3 months are easier than the
second 3 months.
4. Car seats make babies warm. There is no
need for sweats a blanket and a heater.
5. Take lots of pictures they grow SUPER fast.
6. Even if you feel better take it slow, it
will catch up with you. Make sure to have everything prepared before the baby
comes.
7. Keep water close as you will get very thirsty.
8. Make sure your husband eats something during
labor so he doesn’t get dizzy during the delivery.
9. You cant have enough blankets.
10. GET THE DRUGS!!
This is of course my thoughts as a first time mother,
everyone is different.
Here are a few photos for fun:
